Product Description

High Strength Carbon Fiber Sheet – Plain Weave – 1/8″ Thick – 6″ x 6″

 

This 1/8″ carbon fiber plate is manufactured with multiple layers of high-strength carbon fiber prepreg using a high-pressure molding process.

 

For less demanding applications where you can live without the optimized material properties of a quasi-isotropic lay-up, we have created an economy plate. Our sheets are comprised of orthotropic (non-quasi-isotropic) laminates utilizing a twill weave at 0°/90° orientation while maintaining a symmetrical and balanced laminate. For this sheet size, we offer the option of a high gloss twill finish or textured finish on one side and a textured finish on the other side providing an excellent bonding surface.

 

This 1/8″ quasi-isotropic carbon fiber plate is manufactured with multiple layers of, high-strength, standard modulus carbon fiber prepreg using a high-pressure molding process. With a balanced +45°/-45°/0°/90° laminate design, quasi-carbon fiber plates have more uniform properties than our standard 0°/90° CF plates. Quasi-isotropic plates are ideal for off-axis or twisting loading scenarios.
